The Current Slovak National Party as the Oldest Party in Slovakia?

Summary/Abstract: The presented thesis - The current Slovak national Party as the oldest party operator in Slovakia? - is examining the question of whether the named party actually belongs to the oldest political parties in Slovakia. In this paper, I am trying to answering the question whether the historical SNS and the current SNS are having, except for name, also other common features. Object of this research is analysis of Slovak national party with respect of the historical background of emergence of both parties. The issue is based on the hypothesis, that the continuity of historical SNS and modern SNS is questionable in several aspects. To answer this questions I will compare the priorities of both parties, I will detemine the profile of voters of these parties and compare the profane composition of this two electorates. The main method of the work is diaschron comparative method and analysis. The paper consists of two main parts: descriptive and analytical.
