Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to clarify what the concept of customer capital is. It presents some methods for measuring customer capital, and the benefits that may result from the application of the concept of cooperative banking. In addition, it signals the barriers associated with implementing the concept of customer capital. The first part of the publication is devoted to basic concepts such as customer equity, customer asset management, while the second part of it is an attempt to present a few basic methods of measuring customer capital, including the possibility of their adaptation to the conditions of the cooperative sector.
