Summary/Abstract: The Economic section also warns against excessive optimism regarding the latest economic indicators. The range of macroeconomic aggregates generally used in hasty assessments cannot capture accurately the state of the Romanian economy. What lies behind them may be less impressive and requires more prudent judgment.
