Summary/Abstract: The article deals with current problems of teaching Russian as a foreign language, referring to an interdisciplinary approach. Approved by the positive role of treatment of Russian literary works for the development of the cognitive activity of students, the author's technique of graphic and symbolic analysis of literary works, which showed its effectiveness in practice of teaching Russian to foreign students studying in NEFU, is proposed as model in language teaching.
