Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to a concise analysis of correlation between language, culture and linguo-culture that are regarded as part and parcel of some indivisible unity which is in focus of nowadays researches of integrative character. The paper proposes some definitions and sets out to show that these phenomena (being examined through the prism of modern research paradigm) can carry out different functions.
