Summary/Abstract: Abstract. The article puts forth that, rather than pursuing a unified policy towards Kosovo, politicians in Bosnia have seen Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence in light of their own divergent, ethnopolitical interests. The main protagonists in this are the prime minister of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the Bosniac prime minister Haris Silajdžić; yet the Bosnian Croats have contributed their part as well. All three state-constituent groups have pursued nationalist, if not secessionist tendencies, further weakening the already troubled Bosnian statehood.
