Summary/Abstract: The article seeks to analyze constructive vote of no-confidence in constitutions and political practice of a selected set of countries. The analysis is based on five key variables that help us understand and distinguish various versions of the constructive vote of no-confidence. This comparative analysis serves as a context in which a government bill intended to introduce a constructive vote of no-confidence to the constitution of the Czech Republic is assessed. The final part of this article discusses major strengths and weaknesses of the constructive vote of no-confidence.
