Summary/Abstract: The development of flexible forms of employment in Europe is often related to structural modifications (the « tertiarisation » phenomenon) and to conjonctural uncertainties concerning these economies. We refer here to changes in the way firms adjust to infraannual fluctuations of demand addressed to them.
