Summary/Abstract: What emphasizes is the great affinity of the large part of the anecdotes to cynically. Anecdotic cynicism sometimes “erupts” in the end of the creation to remark the decisive importance of the unexpected ending phrase. The role of the ending phrase is to define the genre of the creation but when there is no such; creation doesn’t own the necessary properties of a successful anecdote. This statement is proved with detailed analysis of one unrealized anecdote about madman. The conclusion is that anecdotes can’t be analyzed with methods of the analytic psychology of K. G. Yung or with the help of the “permanence of the characters” of M. Eliade because the contained wisdom is upset of the “un-seriousness” of the genre.
