Summary/Abstract: The Eroticon of the Poultry Processing Plant is a handwritten collection, found in the village of Semerdzhievo, district of Rousse, located in strongly urbanized region. The texts have been part of the everyday life and holidays of the folklore type closed communities such as working teams, students groups, and temporary unions such as “brigade leaders”, “soldiers”. The collection consists of two sections. The first section pays special attention to erotic texts. The second section contains songs, pastry recipes, addresses and telephone numbers of friends, as well as zodiac signs along with the people`s names. The main plots in the collection gravitate to several subjects. The subject “Holiday tickets” reflects the process of society modernization by means of the system for mass recreation tourism, but bit by bit it turned into part of the products for exchange of deficit goods and services in Socialism. The stress here has been put on the super eroticized expectations of leisure time. Reality or just desired conventionality, the time and place where people spent their annual leaves “suggested” increased number of sexual contacts, and as a result of that the “erotic” version of the “Holiday tickets” appeared – “With fresh bitch – on Sunny Beach”, “With hardcore jerk off at Samokov”. Urban life vs. Tradition. The decline of patriarchal relations gave rise to a Letter by “Loving husband” to “his beloved wife”. In his Letter the husband drew up statistic on their sexual life for a period of one year. He wanted her 365 times, but was rejected – 17 times she was cold, 18 she was hot, 20 she had a headache , 25 times “someone might hear us” etc. for the entire year. Here we have to pay attention to the possibility the woman had - to refuse having sex – to be either sexually active or passive in accordance with her will, which she could not have in the pre-modern society. The total modernization of Bulgarian society coinciding with the development of Socialism, led to the decline of the traditional patriarchal family, many migrants appeared and the intensive urbanization became part of the Government`s policy. The anonymity of the city centers residents, the breaking of the networks of kinship ties and the elimination the direct control on behalf of relatives gave an opportunity to establish and realize a new type of relationship, based on sex...
