Summary/Abstract: This paper analyses the new National Security Strategy adopted by the Parliament of Montenegro in late 2008. This paper presents both the positive changes introduced in that document and its weaknesses. The author also outlines the reactions of the main political parties in the Parliament of Montenegro to the priorities set out in the security policy.
