Summary/Abstract: Theme parks are artificially created cognitive-entertainment parks where all structures are connected by a common theme. They are part of thematization, not particularly widespread in Poland, and contribute to the formation of specific public spaces. Theme parks stimulate local initiatives and human capital development, promote regional innovation system building and shap the information society. They also have important social and culture significance. In Poland, theme parks are still in the early stages of development, characterized by high dynamics and search for topics bearing. Dominant position is shared by the Jurassic and miniature parks.
