Transport investments in Lower Silesian Voivodeship in the context of sustainable development strategy

Summary/Abstract: The paper, based on the EU official strategies, statistical data and direct interview, presents the impact of the sustainable development concept on the transport investments in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, underlying contradictions, barriers and suggesting actions to be taken in order to ensure a better efficiency in the future. Special attention has been drawn to the transport infrastructure development statistics and the actions being undertaken by region authorities regarding Lower Silesian transport system development strategy.
