Summary/Abstract: The article describes a relation between innovation and regional development in various Polish regions in the period between 2000 and 2008. Implementation of the soft modelling was helpful in understanding that there is a strong positive relationship between investigated variables. It also defined which of the indicators has the biggest influence on innovation and regional development.
