Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with peripheral position of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the Ex-Yugoslavia community, having in mind its educational system, on example of law studies and limitations imposed by the ruling communist ideology. Center and periphery are compared which produces the effect of “glass ceiling” in the periphery. “Knowledge” is coming from the center and the periphery applied it.
