Summary/Abstract: The Rural Immigrants: Material Capital and Social Networks. Ascendent social mobility of rural immigrants seems succesfull, but only of those who never returned until now in their birthplaces. „Strong” variables prove that their economic and social situation does not greatly differ compared to the urban origin families. These kinds of upward movements and the loss of their relations with their urban kin results in a frustration and continuously attempts to restore their relations with the rural.
