This article analyzes Kazakhstan, where dominant-custodian party system with limited space for opposition parties has been institutionalized and Uzbekistan, where a corporatist system with no room for opposition parties has emerged. For this analysis, the political parties’ law of the two countries is explained and the differences between these countries are dealt with.
