Summary/Abstract: The reviewer analyses Igor Tantlevskij’s reconstruction of the history of the Qumran community as well as his identifications of the key personages mentioned in the main sectarians scrolls under symbolic designations. Special attention is given to the consideration of the author’s methods of analysis of the theological and religious doctrines of the Qumranites, especially the messianic, eschatological, and soteriological ones.
