Summary/Abstract: The interest of this study is focused on the way Roşia Montană Gold Corporation Project is perceived and interpreted by different social actors. Our research data lead to our attempt to understand the phenomenon Roşia Montană. We focused on how social relationships were affected in the community, because the company’s offer divided the community: some agree the project, others oppose to it. This project also influences native families: to stay and to accept the offer or to leave Roşia Montană and move away.
