Summary/Abstract: A study brings to life a few previously unknown aspects of the friendship between two prominent scientists, George Bözödi and Zoltan Szekely. There are also six letters to be published, addressed by Bözödi to Zoltán Székely and which contain a lot of valuable scientifi c information. Our paper wants to be a respectful tribute in the honor and memory of the famous writer, scholar and sociologist, born 100 years ago and unfairly forgotten. The life’s work of Bözödi, his handwritten legacy has been processed, but his relation to archaeology was unknown so far.
