Summary/Abstract: Previous analysis was aimed at explaining development of sociology in Bosnia-Herzegovina, as well as importance of sociology for BH. Society and social sciences in general. In order to achieve this goal exploration of this phenomenon was oriented on evolution of sociological thought and science, with the main goal to discover and present the most important aspects of genesis of this science, which has been neglected and forgotten, as well as non-comprehensive before, which made it invisible. That was the main way of our research, instead of verifying comprehensive results and value of this science in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Argumentation provided by this research gave strong base to stress out two important points related to evolution nature of sociology in Bosnia-Herzegovina: 1. Sociology in Bosnia-Herzegovina, for relatively short time – less than half century – has developed into recognizable social science in the system of these sciences; 2. There is certain continuity in development of sociology within Bosnia-Herzegovinian society, but BH. Sociology has developed hand in hand with sociology in the wider social area and with contemporary winds – theoretical and methodological – in sociology and in other social sciences. Development of sociology during and after the aggression on Bosnia-Herzegovina is very important. The main argument for this lays in the literature written by authors who discuss various topics and in many dimensions put light on social reality of BH. society, which is on serious historical turnover. The most important authors are: M. Filipović, dr. A. Tanović, dr. R. Muminović, dr. N. Duraković, dr. Dž. Sokolović, dr. N. Musabegović, dr. F. Kožul, dr. S. Kukić, dr. F. Saltaga, dr. J Žiga, dr. S. Fočo, dr. E. Zgodić, dr. I. Cvitković, dr. Š. Filandra, dr. o. Ibrahimagić, dr. Ć. Sadiković, dr. R. Mahmutćehajić, I. Lovrenović. Literature by these authors, which is very important and very rich for such short period of time, shows fully critical-analytical character of contemporary sociology thought in Bosnia-Herzegovina, which is the essence of this science.
