Unsolved Issues in Education and Practice of Social Work

Summary/Abstract: In this article the author gives brief overview of the history of social work education in the world, in the former Yougoslavia and especially in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Further the author analyses professional standards, codes and regulations of professional practice of social work pursuing international documents regarding social work ethics, as well as the discussion of existing problem in the area of professional independance of social worker in BiH.
