Summary/Abstract: Quality assurance (QA) implies the objective evaluation of faculty teachers' scientific contribution. It is the teacher who is a key person in the realisation of teaching and scientific process at higher education institutions. Quality of teaching, including the interaction with students, their motivation to work, quality of the outcomes of their joint work depends to a great extent exactly on the teacher. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out coninued evalaution of the teacher's work in the following areas: quality and professional competence; quality of pedagogical, didactic and methodical competence; quality od teacher's personality; scientific quality and relevance; 204 productivity in scientific and research work; his / her contribution to promotion and recognition of new scientific generations; remarkable project leading. The research, concisely presented in this paper, was carried out on a large sample of students and teachers, and it offers a model that could be applied at other faculties in order to obtain the whole insight into situation and progress at university, according to the current reform of higher education.
