Summary/Abstract: It was quite late by the time Olda and Sabina knocked on one of the doors in a block with courtyard balconies. Sabina didn't want to be a burden to anyone and disturb decent people at night, she would have preferred to go to Olda's cellar. An elderly Rom wearing a flannel cotton shirt and blue tracksuit pants opened the door, face covered in lather because he was in the middle of shaving.
