Assessment of the use of public assistance by companies in Lublin Voivodeship based on survey results

Summary/Abstract: Regional aid is an important stimulus to support the development of small enterprises that operate primarily on a local market. Assistance that is used by the companies has lead to their competitiveness increase, the introduction of investment and implementation of regional social policy. This article based on statistical data and surveys conducted in 240 companies in Lublin shows the character of assistance granted to operators from public funds, the extent of their use and subjective feelings of entrepreneurs associated with the disposal of received funds.
