Polish energy security and renewable energy sources

Summary/Abstract: Integration of Poland with the European Union has determined many objectives to achieve. One of them is the improvement in the environmental conditions by means of advancing the usage of renewable energy sources. The aim of this paper is to present the role and importance of renewable energy sources for the Polish energy security of Poland. The paper focuses thus on regulatory legislation for the promotion of renewable energy sources and on the possibility of using these sources.
