USES EMAIL AT WORK: WHAT IS RISK PRACTICES?

Summary/Abstract: This work attempts to underline some of the risks linked to the use of an electronic mailbox inside an organization.Using the theory of structuration, we tried to characterize the uses of this ICT in the everyday pratctices at work. We thus make the distinction between risks linked to the design of this ICT, and others linked to its uses. These risks are the rise of anxiety and the diffusion of control at work results, and might lead to a decay of work environnement and an increase of the volume of email-boxes dedicated archives.
