Summary/Abstract: Energy sector is not commonly associated with competition and due practices. However, lately the situation has changed and energy suppliers have to compete to gather the clients: individual as well as organizational. That means it is necessary to look closer into clients’ needs and opinions to be more competitive. The main aim of the paper is to present the situation in the sector and to present the results of the research conducted by the authors. The research concerns individual clients as well as companies. Gathered opinions let the authors formulate recommendations necessary to meet customers’ needs according to their opinions. Thus, energy suppliers are able to improve their competitive advantage.
