Summary/Abstract: French hospitals do not have enough nurses. There are at least a dozen reasons for such a lack of staff. To compensate for their lack of staff, then they practice mobility and flexibility. Indeed, hospitals require nurses (at rest or on leave) to return to work. Thus, they replace a colleague of service or a nurse from another department. For the moment, no academic study is concerned with the consequences of such management personnel. However, the mobility of nurses certainly carries implications for the hospital, patients and caregivers themselves. To understand the phenomenon (context, advantages, disadvantages) health professionals were interviewed. Their responses scattered legal and health reflections of the author.
