Summary/Abstract: Using an exact scientific method, which incorporates a ranking system for investment projects according to their financial and marketing efficiency grades, this paper presents an approach which explores investment-related decision making. Dynamic grading methods, as well as the multi-criteria method called “TOPSIS”, are used for this very purpose. A selection between several investment projects means using different methods of analysis and selecting the one which is most suitable (the one which aids company development). During that process, it is necessary to set an investment goal, the criteria which will be used to monitor the achievement of the set goals, and finally select the investment project which is best suited for achieving the investment goal. For sorting out the problems encountered during investment-related decision making, ten investment projects were used whose dynamic grading methods were calculated and the TOPSIS method applied in order to form a ranking list of the investment projects to enable the selection of the best suited project.
