The Organisation Of The Croatian Ustasa Forces In 1941

Summary/Abstract: The article provides detailed account on the organization of the Croatian Ustasa forces in 1941. It analyses the arrival of the Ustasa émigré group to the Independent State of Croatia in mid-April and its influence on the future military organization. In theframe of the political wing of the Ustasa movement, additional source for the creation of the Ustasa units was engaged. It was followed with emerge of the homeland Ustasa group, mostly in areas where the Croats and Serbs lived together. The article deals with the development of the early military organization troughout the 1941. It was based on the author’s research in the Military Archive in Belgrade, as well as the sources friom the Croatian State Archives.
