Cybersecurity strategies in the Age of Internet

Summary/Abstract: Obviously, social networks, blogs, forums and the Internet in its whole bring a lot of benefits in the field of communication and technology. On the other hand, Information Age has a dark side, by providing the tools and opportunities necessary for presence and expanding of illegal groups; all technological means have to offer in the field of propaganda, recruitment, financing and so on. Taking into consideration the considerable risks associated to these activities it has become understandable that intelligence communities must elaborate proper strategies for more effective fight, de facto and de jure, against these threats. For that reason, intelligence and law enforcement agencies focus on simultaneously: prevention and countering of risks.
