Summary/Abstract: The prospect of a European education, the formation of the citizens of the new millennium is also currently applicable to young Albanian students. Considering the various types of relations between Albania and Italy, the most favored language in Albania is Italian. Even if apparently it is anticipated as an easy process, the learning/teaching of Italian language as FL in the language class of the Section of Italian Language, at the “Ismail Qemali” University of Vlorë, Albania is difficult both for teaching staff and for students. Generally, problems are connected to Italian grammar, pronunciation, cultural differences between two peoples. However, the teacher has the obligation to use correct teaching methods.
