Summary/Abstract: This paper looks at the question of economic competitiveness of Poland in the context of joining the eurozone. The author presents various factors related to euro adoption, including institutional framework, macroeconomic characteristics (exchange rate, inflation, foreign exchange risk, interest rate) and euro convergence criteria. In the conclusion, the evaluation of their influence on the future condition of the Polish economy is conducted.
