Summary/Abstract: In her work, the author presents the first information about Jews on the territory of the Kingdom of Croatia and Slavonia and that of the Military Border in the 17th and the 18th centuries. Since the colonization of Jews in this territory was forbidden, they frequented Croatian trade markets as merchants. The author therefore categorizes the Jewish merchants based on the duration of their stay as transient, occasional and temporarily present.
