Summary/Abstract: Cristian Teodorescu makes a thorough analysis of fails and faults in the new examination system established by the Ministry of Education for the 8th grade final pass exam. The author draws attention on the numerous weaknesses in new system starting with the very difficult subjects of tests and the lack of gradual increasing difficult topics and ending with unrealistic requests such as the compulsory 10 pages length essays for the Romanian language test. The marking system totally, inadequate is also criticized by the author of the article.
