Summary/Abstract: In this article the author gives a short review of the contributions made by the Bosniak ulama to the study of hadith and the evaluation of its sened in particular. The author here presents a letter written in Arabic language by Mustafa b. Ahmed a mufty of Mostar in 1281 H., in which he elaborates how one hadith that he examined from various aspects has to be considered an apokrif hadith. The mentioned letter is a reaction of a mufty to a hutba deliverd at the time and reveals the weakness of the tradition that hatib used in delivering that hutba.
