Summary/Abstract: The word marketing has two different meanings in modern management. It describes: The first range of specialist marketing functions, which is used in many organizations. Such functions include market research, brand / product management, public relations and customer service. The second one is approach or concept that can be used as a leading philosophy for all functions and activities of the organization. It is a philosophy that encompasses all aspects of business. Business strategy is driven by the organization of the market, which focus on each client to win. The modern marketing concept unites these two meanings (Houston 1986) and emphasizes that marketing covers a range of organizational functions and processes that are united to establish the appropriate target markets and offer products and services to customers and other key stakeholders such as employees and financial institutions. There is more increasing importance of marketing in an organization; it becomes vital function and guides management in the organization. In recent time appears another term for marketing, Internet Marketing, which is associated with digital technologies, which include online media and other digital media such as wireless mobile media, cable and satellite. In practice Internet marketing involves the use of company web site linked to promotional techniques, such as search engines, banner advertising, direct e-mail and services from other web sites to gain new customers and to provide services to existing customers helping you to develop relationships with customers.
