Representatives of “official” historiography on the Old Russian politogenes

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the problem of the Old Russian politogenes in the interpretation of the historians of the “official” school. Different in approaches used, they were united in principal: the appearance of the state was a long and complicated process. At the same time they did not exaggerate the unity and power of the Old Russian state.
