Three squares in Paris

Summary/Abstract: The study which is part of a larger work in progress tries to typify and systematize the squares in Paris. With the detailed description and historical presentation of the story and development of three Parisian squares, the Place Vendôme, the Place (Rue) Furstenberg, and the Place du Marché Sainte-Catherine, the author’s aim is to analyse and historically demonstrate the similarities and differencies of the attitude and techniques in square building.
