Summary/Abstract: Alevism, with its characteristic of esoteric interpretation, resembles the Shii İsmailiya rather than the Twelve İmam Shiism. İn its interpretations brought to religious rules, there is a clear influence is a compulsory result deriving from both geographical and historical conditions. The interpretation of Alevies regarding namaz is that namaz is “salat”, which means “petition to Allah”. This interpretation reveals the influence of the Nizari İsmailiyas, who have a similar interpretation.
