Summary/Abstract: Information is the prerequisite of effective decision-making. Lack of information leads to information asymmetry. As a result, relations and links in the activity of market players are dominated by the competitive advantage of one of the sides. The purpose of this article is to highlight the essence of the information asymmetry presented in the relationship between the Ministry of Treasury and representatives in the supervisory boards of subsidiary companies. The criticism and analysis of the literature in the field of knowledge management and supervision over State Treasury companies method was used in this work.
