Summary/Abstract: The author offers new information about a miscellany (MS 17 from the Library of the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade) researched already during the nineteenth century. The manuscript can be dated with certainty to 1711-1712 when Athanasios I was Serbian Patriarch. On ff. 171r-172v it embodies a „Slava“ (Eulogy) composed by an unknown man of letters which contains the names of saints venerated by Eastern Orthodox Church including some of the most popular among the Southern Slavs. The content of the „Slava“ is compared to some Menologia in the old Serbian manuscripts. The author comes to the conclusion that the oldest layer of the text goes back to the second half of the sixteenth century and completed prior to 1688.
