Summary/Abstract: This work contributes to the clarification of the typology and the specification of the terminology related to Old Slavonic hymnographic books of the type “Menaion”. On the basis of MS Vat. Slav. 26, an_attempt is made to explain the difference between extended Festal Menaion and abridged all-year-round Menaion.
