Analysis of Medical Data Classification by Using Selected Artificial Intelligence Methods

Summary/Abstract: This paper concerns the analysis of medical data classification using selected methods of artificial intelligence, such as: neural networks, Fuzzy Neural Networks and Case-Based Reasoning. The goal of the undertaken research is to investigate which of the aforementioned methods can group data with incomplete information in the best way. The paper presents the results of experiments that consisted in grouping objects (patients) for different parameters of the selected classification methods. The data come from patients with nephroblastoma and patients with backbone pain. The ultimate aim is to create a diagnostic system for the analysis of treatment effectiveness.
