Summary/Abstract: The Internet represents the basis for every piece of information that accedes to the status of ”global”. The status of ”global” (Marshall Mc Luhan) has got as a background the cohabitation, the interaction between the members of communities regarding the common affiliation to the same ideas, values and attitudes. The virtual community defies cartographic restrictions in order to initiate and develop social relationships, to explore new identities. The globalization of electronic communication creates the conscience of variety and makes the distance between cultures disappear.
