Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the legal aspects of the impact of climate change on human security, the rights of refugees and international trade law. Some criticism has been made of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol. The study pays special attention to the position of the European Union and Bulgaria's participation in the climate change regime. The article draws conclusions on the basis of the advantages of the framework approach to the normative regulation of one of the major challenges of today.
