Summary/Abstract: The manifestation of arms race for possession and fabrication of weapons of mass destruction by the some states, as well as their transportation vectors, induces an instability of the international strategic balance, that came together with the end of the cold war. The counteracting ballistic missiles involves both a series of preventive measures and the steps that could be followed before launching and during the finally ballistic missiles flying.
