Summary/Abstract: A novel "Žene. Glasovi" written by Jasmina Musabegovic is placed in two different cities Mostar and Sarajevo. This work shows how cypress, a place used in this novel, can keep stories about history where story-tellers are victims of war. The cypress is perceived as the symbol of remembrance and pain.
