Summary/Abstract: This paper reminds us of the beginnings and development of Croatian Study Sections at higher education institutions and universities abroad. The author reflects on the problems Croatian Study abroad has encountered, especially in the 1990s when it came to a turning point after the war, and considers the rising opportunities of promoting and researching Croatian Study in Croatian Study Sections.
